Wedding bells !

What an eventful, tiring yet eye opening day it has been!

So, my day started off witnessing my beautiful and loving science teacher from year 7-9, Miss Chow being handed over to the lucky and handsome groom, "Uncle" Danny Tan (:
It was such an honour to have attended my first ever church wedding and witnessing their first kiss together! hehe. It was a truly heartwarming event, I really felt at home and cozy when I'm in the church. Singing songs, celebrating a joyful occasion, and most importantly with my MOST favourite bunch of people who has made my high school life a really memorable and worthwhile journey! It was always a happy and great time with my fellow high school mates. Have been with all of them for the past 5 years and wouldn't mind going down the road for another 50!

She looks the pretttiestttt ever!

Craziest bunch.

Continuing the day
I went to search for my other tuition teacher (kind of tuition) later in that afternoon. He is Ben and he has taught me for over my whole childhood. From arts and drawings to mental maths and abacus learning, he has watched me grown from 4 years old to 18 years. Of course I only attended his class until I was 11. But he was a teacher that I could never forget along with his wife who runs the learning centre with him since the first day ever. Today, I went to look for a job from him but our 15 minutes discussion weren't actually about the job itself.

It somehow ended up in talking about life and being a good person with a great humanity. It is so true how we shouldn't compare ourselves with other people in a working environment nor should we be competing with ourself. Instead, we should actually just continue progressing and that is where it really shows improvement and a great result in the end. If we constantly keep on beating on ourselves, we would never seek the chance to improve ourselves. If we keep on complaining, honestly, nothing would really work out or happen. We got to fix it.

For a very good example, complaining about a lecturer that slacks. We ALL know that one lecturer that always don't give a shit and to our opinions, is not good in teaching. I have one like that. Despite the amount of complaints we make, they would still get paid and they would still continue teaching us no matter what we do. While complaining, we would be wasting our time, money and values. Instead of whining and ranting, we should actually use that time and concentrate on progressing on ourselves by ourselves without the help of that particular teacher. Ask a friend, ask another lecturer, ask the internet. We should just continue on with our lives and of course, tolerate all these people. We shouldn't mind their business too much and ofcourse help them when in need.

All in all, i just hope that people would make more full use of their time by not complaining so much, it doesn't kill. It hurts less people and it also helps you improve yourself to be a better person.

God bless all,
-AW
